Free video tutorials
If you are anything like myself, then the most effective way you learn something is to watch somebody do it. I find many advantages to video tutorials versus text tutorials, such as having the ability to see what settings are used for particular methods, what size image, menu locations and so on. A large majority of things I have learned about computer software, has been through videos. So this is an effort to return the favor by providing insight, tricks and techniques that I have gathered over the years. I will only be sharing things that I find to be unique, as well as sought after tricks that are not well covered or explained elsewhere. If you would like to suggest a topic to be explained, or give feedback, please do not hesitate to contact me via email. -CW

How to create the swirly vector line effect in Adobe Illustrator
This video tutorial will explain the only method I know to achieve the popular effect of multiple swirling lines, which follow the same path. You have likely seen this technique used in various ads or image works. It is done by creating a simple path with the pen tool, then duplicating it in steps with the blend tool. It took me a little bit to find an efficent way to do this trick, so hopefully this tutorial will shorten your search.
